New York, New York. A city that will always holds a special place in my heart. A place where I grew from teenage to young adulthood, my first time out of Mamma’s nest, out of my comfort zone, yet so at home. I come back here every year, each time with a new perspective. This time, I spent a few days with my friends Bella & Vickie. Bella, a young creative hailing from my neighborhood; Maroubra, and Vickie; a freshly first year photographer from Parsons. We spent most afternoons cornered up with a bowl of Udon from Udon bar; Raku, talking all things art, avoiding the Fashion week noise and madness, growing up by the ocean, and how the contrast of New York and Australia are two places that forever draws us back (still trying to pinpoint what it is). Spending our Subway journeys making short film clips of each other, from Uptown Central Park, to Downtown Williamsburg, Brooklyn and practicing Chinese. Here’s a glimpse into our few days together with Rag & Bone. Forever wondering and daydreaming.
