MADONNA INN

We drove 3 hours in a semi offensive cobalt blue Mustang to San Luis, and made a visit to the Madonna Inn. We actually got up-sold to the convertible - only $10 extra a day. I dressed myself in all sorts of fun pieces that I chose from Net-a-porter a month earlier. I actually half forgotten what I ended up selecting, but it worked out in the end and so did the Pilates I’d been doing the past few months because I feature a semi head stand in one of the images. I reunited with my friend who I met 5 years ago off Instagram to shoot, her name is Sophia and lots of magic happened. We got a whole bunch of snacks from Erewhon for company, because who doesn’t love cacao encrusted coconut flakes and vegetables chips made from all the vegetables you could imagine. We made it back to Venice before dinner time with the roof top down to the soundtrack of Charlie’s Angels. It was such a start to our LA trip.
